Accused Sex Trafficker Commits Suicide in Jail Cell

August 10, 2019

Disgraced multi-billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was facing federal sex trafficking charges, committed suicide early Saturday morning in his jail cell, according to law enforcement.

Sources stated that Epstein hanged himself. He was discovered unresponsive in his cell. Epstein, who was 66, was set to stand trial in New York for sexually abusing dozens of young teenage girls in New York and Florida.

Three weeks previously, Epstein attempted suicide after he was found unresponsive in his prison cell in Lower Manhattan. Sources stated that Epstein had markings on his neck appearing to be self-inflicted.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident.

Following his death, his victims condemned his suicide what they describe as a lack of justice for them and other accusers. Particularly, Jennifer Araoz, 32, claimed that Epstein raped her and called law enforcement to pursue and prosecute his [Epstein’s] accomplices and enablers.

This incident may have occurred as a result of newly unsealed court records that inculpate Epstein and other accomplices, including politicians and celebrities, known to frequent with him. All of whom however, have claimed the allegations as false.
